“My dream is to make sure Deaf people are able to access all the same services as everyone else without any barriers.”

Deaf Accessibility and Support Consultant, Ana Price, has spent the majority of her adult life dedicated to advocacy within the Deaf community. As a Deaf woman, Ana contributes direct experience and insight to this subset as well as a long history of working alongside inspiring individuals and organizations; ultimately acquiring invaluable expertise in trauma-informed practices. Throughout this last decade, Ana has committed herself to raising awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault within the Deaf and Hearing communities and honing her expertise in victimization, traumatization, oppression and culturally sensitive direct services for all people, but specifically, Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

Ana’s passion and involvement in the movement against oppression and violence was ignited during her tenure at a Deaf-led, statewide nonprofit agency. Beginning her role as a Statewide Victim Advocate, Ana ultimately became the organization's Executive Director, leading the team in providing the highest level of service and care. Additionally, Ana also shared her expertise within a mainstream domestic violence organization, serving as the Crisis Intervention and Case Management Services Manager where she led a team of advocates in providing victim/survivor-centered services and safe and supportive environments for those in need. Currently, as the owner of Anabella's Lily of the Valley, Ana consults, blogs, writes and conducts motivational speeches.

Ana is the mother of two beautiful children and a wife to her husband of sixteen-plus years. In her free time, Ana loves sipping warm coffee, indulging in outdoor walks, cooking and cherishing precious moments with her family and loved ones.
