Hello friend!
It's been quite a while since my last blog post (can you believe it's already 2023?). I've taken some time off to focus on my personal growth and I enrolled in "Life College" for the past two years. During this period, I learned a lot about myself and the significance of placing my inner well-being as a priority. I would like to share my journey with you, in hopes that it might inspire you to embark on a similar path.
Have you found yourself in a situation where you felt completely lost and unable to find the answers to your questions?
That overwhelming feeling can have a negative impact on your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and I know this from personal experience. It took me quite some time to realize that I wasn't as happy as I thought I was. I made some mistakes in communicating with others, and these mistakes taught me some valuable lessons. Eventually, I made a difficult decision that had a profound impact on my health. As it turns out, my physical ailments were caused by stress, and I had lost touch with myself. But, after rediscovering who I am, I am now in a much better place. Friend, I am here to tell you that you are not alone.
I have gone through a journey of self-discovery and have prioritized my inner well-being over the past two years. In March 2023, I made the difficult decision to resign from my employment and explore new opportunities for personal growth. I am constantly evolving and becoming the person I aspire to be, one step at a time.
Through my nine-year career, I have acquired a plethora of valuable skills, including effective communication. This skill allowed me to navigate challenging situations with confidence, even in the face of adversity. However, I also realized that I played a part in some of the problems I encountered. Specifically, when I found myself in a toxic work environment, I would shut down and use passive-aggressive language with my colleagues. It was a coping mechanism that I developed to deal with the stress and anxiety I felt. I became fearful of going to the office and struggled with opening emails, which had a significant impact on my productivity. Additionally, I experienced frequent headaches and stomach issues due to the stress.
Recently, I've been reflecting on the coping mechanisms that have worked for me in the past and I've come to the realization that they no longer suffice. After some introspection, I've discovered that getting enough sleep, engaging in outdoor walks, participating in physical activities, and eating nutritious foods have had a positive impact on both my mental and physical health. I've made a conscious effort to prioritize these activities in my daily routine and guess what? I have noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being.
Despite facing various challenges, I've remained committed to upholding my integrity and treating others with respect. It was not an easy journey, my friend. However, during this self-reflective journey, I confided in those closest to me and realized that I haven't always valued and respected myself. Accepting this truth was difficult, but it opened my eyes and taught me the value of self-love and self-care. My dear friend, I strongly believe that these practices are essential for you seeking a fulfilling and meaningful life.
I am incredibly excited to announce that I am returning to my true passion as the founder of Lily of the Valley. I have some life advice that I'd like to share with you, dear friend. It's something that I practice every day and has proven to be effective. It's important to acknowledge the significant impact that our emotional and mental state can have on the decisions we make.
Here is the life advice that I like to refer to as "Lily of the Valley Advice:"
When we're feeling unwell internally, we may be inclined to make unhealthy choices that worsen our condition. When we're content and at peace with ourselves, we're more likely to make positive choices that promote our overall well-being.
Dear friend, what are your thoughts on the advice? Do you think it is reasonable?
I suggest taking a moment to reflect on your present circumstances and reassess your life.
When faced with overwhelming negative emotions, it's important to keep in mind the advice of the Lily of the Valley. I am here to assist you on your path of self-discovery and healing, offering support every step of the way.
